Shopping for Outdoor Furniture

During this time of year, our back porch is a popular place for guests to relax. We had a former guest ask us questions about our furniture, so we thought we'd share some tips to help aid your search. When creating outdoor spaces at home, it is important to choose the right materials so they will stand up to the elements.

When buying outdoor furniture look for an all aluminum frame and outdoor webbing (colored PVC pipe material). It will last for years and years without any care. Also make sure that the pillows are awning fabric; Sunbrella is the brand that we use for our outdoor seating.

One company that carries outdoor furniture, Smith and Hawken, recently announced their going out of business sale. You can visit this link to find a location near you.
